Previously named the Presidential Dining Room, the East & State Ballrooms were once the locale of many lavish state dinners and receptions. Today, the two combine to almost 8,000 square feet, easily accommodating 850 for a reception or 725 for a theatre-style meeting.

Located just off the main lobby, the Palm Court Ballroom once served as a gathering spot for visitors to enjoy elegant tea. Now, at over 2,900 square feet, the ballroom can hold classroom meetings of 120 to a lavish 300-person reception.

The site of President Calvin Coolidge’s 1925 charity inaugural ball and other presidential events, The Grand Ballroom continues to be among the most popular function spaces for special events in Washington, DC. Combined with the Chinese Ballroom, the ballroom has a total event space of 10,359 square feet and a capacity of 1,150 guests.

The site of many historic gatherings, this 2,700 sq ft space adjacent to the Grand Ballroom has hosted a variety of notables including Winston Churchill and President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Housed on the hotel’s lower level, the newly refreshed, 4,352 square foot District Ballroom is the ideal space for a private 50-person board meeting to a festive 300-person wedding.
