Also known as Malcom X Park, this National Park Service run green space extends from Adams Morgan up through Columbia Heights and features a long stretch of land designed for a lazy Sunday of soaking in the sunshine, reading and their famed drum circle.

Hains Point or East Potomac Park is in SW DC and is where the Potomac River, Washington Channel and the Anacostia River meet. It’s the perfect spot to people watch and get in some kite flying. Parking can be difficult to find so we recommend renting a bike or using rideshare.
